Today marks Slay Day, a significant occasion as the Slay Society, proudly rooted in Ottawa, Ontario, but with a much broader reach, rallies to shine a spotlight on the formidable dragon that is glioblastoma. This aggressive form of brain cancer devastates not only those diagnosed but also deeply impacts the lives of their loved ones and caregivers. Through awareness and community action, Slay Society aims to inspire hope and resilience in the face of this relentless adversary, a ferocious dragon that we are searching for many ways to slay.

La Journée Slay

Aujourd’hui marque la Journée Slay, un événement important au cours duquel la Société Slay, fièrement implantée à Ottawa, en Ontario, mais dont la portée est beaucoup plus large, se mobilise pour mettre en lumière le redoutable dragon qu’est le glioblastome. Cette forme agressive de cancer du cerveau dévaste non seulement les personnes diagnostiquées, mais a également un impact profond sur la vie de leurs proches et de leurs aidants. Grâce à la sensibilisation et à l’action communautaire, la Slay Society vise à inspirer l’espoir et la résilience face à cet adversaire implacable, un dragon féroce que nous cherchons à abattre par tous les moyens.
